all kidding aside, that road sign needs context, it is on a Hajj route, and necessary to distinguish between muslim and non muslim, this route is specifically for the faithful on sacred pilgimage


given how many people do this pilgrimage, its clear that a separate route is needed to keep "regular" traffic flowing
