Pudster, the solution is not simple.
The FACT is that the Democrat neocommunists have no solution.
The FACT is that Obama and his Pelosiite minions are bent on
the destruction of these United States from within.

A step in the correct direction will be to

VOTE FOR NO DEMOCRATS in November.
VOTE REPUBLICAN across the board.

Ditching this two party system would be a great next step.
We NEED a credable third and or fourth party.

one of the few things you've written in which I agree completely. I am actually working toward that end, and have been for a year or two. It's a very slow process, in some states nearly impossible under current law. For instance, in PA, to get a third party condidate on a statewide election ballot you have to submit(with very strict attention to detail) petitions with the signatures of registered voters numbering 1% of the turnout of the past statewide election. In other words, roughly 250,000 signatures, or more.
We NEED a credable third and or fourth party.

We need spell-check.

I agree. However this country only thinks in two's. Football, baseball, basketball, black and white, etc. Then you have the "my daddy grandpappy and my great great grandpappy etc etc back to caveman times were all (insert party of choice here )party and by dog that's good enough for me" contingent..

A viable third party would be a boon. Unfortunately at this time they have a better chance of ruining a decent candidate's chance as "Ross, the boss, Perot" did when he took the "Reagan Democrats" away from George "read my lips" Sr and handed us Klinton on a silver platter.

FYI. Ross NEVER intended to follow though with anything other than shooting Bush Sr out of the saddle. He was pissed at Bush SR because he would NOT authorize federal funding to increase the length of Ft Worth Alliance airport's runway to accommodate landing the space shuttle there. I know this from a family member that worked very close to the "old man" for several years.

Ross and the Ft Worth City council fucked the tax payers long and deep on that airport for his boy Ross Jr to get rich off of.

to an extent, true. But we have, at times, shuffled the party structure in the nation. We no longer have whigs, the GOP was a later party, the Dems re-aligned a few times. Generally, such upheaval came in times where a radical shift in direction dictated it. Wouldn't you agree we are in such times?

as to the Perot stuff, I've heard the same from friends in Texas.

ju gots frens in Texas?? LOL

Yes there have been several good attempts at third parties, all the ones you mentioned and even the Anti-Masonic Party made a good run. However, it always seems to revert back to the old status quo.

People get pissed, get even, collect their revenge, get happy, and then go back to the apathy that got them in bad mood to start with. May take a few cycles but it will go back. Human nature I guess and the fact that has been proven again and again that as long as you can bribe people with their own money, you can rule them. ;)

OUR fault, collectively.
