I want to thank the liberals that dominate NPR for
helipng "We The People" defeat Obama and the Pelosiites.
Perfect timing to stab a moderate thinking man in the back
for the sake of political correctness and Liberalism (communism and intolerance).
NPR has stirred anger and resentment amongst the independents
as well as we Tea Party members.
Dyed in the wool democrats will vote communist at all costs.

here's my take

I have two jobs my day job and my evening job, during the day I work for John building toilets, and I build a mean toilet,
but during the evening I work for Frank, I fix toilets, and I fix a mean toilet. I do not have to reconcile the two, and John has no right to fire me, because I also work for Frank and I said someone has a smelly turd…unless there is a specific clause in my contract, that forbids me from working for Frank and commenting about turds. And ESPECIALLY since I didnt comment about those turds while I was working for John.

I think NPR has been very upfront regarding the reason he got fired. yet not only do they fire him but then they slander him and attempt to discredit him. WHY?
This whole thing stinks (pun) and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Soro's was involved. his hatred for Fox and anyone associated with them is well known.

was this a typo? If not, I disagree. NPR has danced like Astaire around the matter. To the credit of their radio news dept, they have aired some commentary VERY critical of the whole debacle. Listen, if you can, to David Brooks' comments on 'All Things Considered'(or, for that matter E.J. Dionne's) yesterday. That's no small matter, either.....don't expect to see CNN, FOX, or any other outlet be so brutally honest. Soros and others give money, but I suspect that some of the NPR mid-upper brass have issues with Fox on their own.
Sort of an odd aside, WHYY, in Philly, works WITH the local Fox affiliate on news reporting.....

the reason he was fired is crystal clear. any "dancing" that NPR is now doing is pure damage control

Williams had been a contributor and analyst at NPR for decades, but his dual role on Fox News -- where he has also been a longtime and frequent contributor -- drew so many complaints from NPR's listeners that it asked Fox News to stop identifying Williams as an "NPR News Political Analyst" in 2009.

so was this termination agenda based? was it an effort to stifle free speech or an opposing view point?

NPR has been dancing in left turning circles with the help of our tax dollars since day one.

I think they have been gunning for Williams since he got the Fox gig. The remark he made gave them what they wanted in their minds to pull the trigger. As for complaints from listeners? Bullshit! They've never given a damn what their listeners thought, they only care what their "contributors" think.

As for PBS/NPR, I quit giving them a dime back in the late 80's when they started spending money to scramble their feeds from the satellites. I lived so far out in the boonies at the time there was no option other than a huge satellite dish if you wanted to watch TV. Some bunch of bastards convinced the broadcast industry that they were losing money to people like me so they started scrambling the signals and then tried to sell everybody de-scramblers and charge a monthly fee. PBS locked up their feeds and I locked up my money.

How about NPR could have contractually negated William's appearance on any show other than their own? They chose not to do so. It seems likely that they breached their own contract with Williams? We will see.... It will be interesting, should Cuda's analogy prove true.
