You're welcome Nic. I'm still waiting to hear how much gasoline costs in France. :P

I wish I still had my '57 Bel-Aire 2dr hardtop. I could probably sell it for enough to pay off my house.

Bought it in '67 when I was 15. Hot rodded the shit out of it. Hot 283, Hurst shifter, tucky-rolly buckets, 8 TRACK, p-trac, Cragar 5 spokes, etc etc.. Worked at a wrecking yard after school. Friday and Saturday nights were race nights. Sundays were usually spent at the junk yard fixing broken shit, swapping trannies, rear ends, etc.

Was fun.

Sold it in '69 for $425. Thought I'd cut a fat hog. BIG money for an OLD '57 back then. LOL

Bought a '67 El Camino w/ a 350HP 327 and a TURBO-GLIDE. That sumbitch was hard to keep hooked up when ya drilled the throttle. The back tires liked to turn into smoke. Like ALL El-Caminos, it leaked water BAD around the back windshield. Sold it right before I shipped out to 'Nam.

Deleting the junk cars, starting
with a 4 door in good shape and average options
to a LS6 454 convertable prices vary
between $2,000 and $150,000 US.

Low mileage special models can top $500,000.

I've never seen one at that price. Got some proof?

A friend in Tewksbury Mass bought a rough but restorable 69 Chevelle wagon 307 V8 powered for a tad under $2,000 past year.
Can't prove it without posting his name and addy.

Wagons have become collectable of late. the 4 door sedans seem
to be of little more than parts value unless they are perfect.

I'm talking about the $500,000. That's a Shelby price. I've never seen a Chevelle bring anywhere near that.

I have a particular fondness of 1964 Chevrolet Impalas, 2 doors, with the small block V-8's.......So does every Meskin in Texas, low riders.....

You fella's want some performance, every dream car you have listed wouldn't touch my stock 1989 Mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed.....0-100 and then 100-0, let alone, turn a corner with it.... 8-)

Just saying................ ;)

Bad thing about cars from the 80's and 90's was that with every bump you hit, some piece of shit plastic part fell off.
