true, but the issue is that given the lower numbers, Clint has a couple, three real dogs out there. His most recent comes to mind. Certainly nowhere near the quality output of some of the others on the list.

No comments on Scorcese's list?

Does that mean they all meet your approval? Why didn't you vote for him?

Asshat didn't make any movies.

btw You said Clint didn't have enough movies. His (your) list is longer than Scorcese's list.

Every great director has a few lesser efforts. Lets face it, there's no forgiving Eastwood for "Space Cowboys" or "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

But....

Bird
White Hunter Black Heart
Unforgiven
The Bridges of Madison County
Mystic River (an almost perfectly directed film)
Million Dollar Baby
Flags of Our Fathers
Gran Torino
Invictus
Hereafter

....puts Clint on the list.

Ya left out "Bloody Sam" Peckinpah! Even if he hasn't made a movie since '84 his stuff was awesome!

The original "kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out" director.

ASSHAT!

I'm quite certain an asshat made the last three or four I've seen.
