He got that thing for a song. ( comparatively speaking that is ) The former owner was scared the mill was thrashing because he couldn't see out the windshield after climbout due to all the oil on it. Jim got to looking at it real close and the jam nuts on the push rod tubes were loose. He tightened 'em down and replaced the the packings in a couple of 'em and there isn't a tea cup of oil under that engine right now. She's tight. Rear mag is dropping about 400rpm and he's gonna pull it and see what its problem is and rotate the plugs from bottom to top before he flies it again. No big deal just time consuming.
