I hoped nothing happened on 9/11 this year, but it seems there was a truck bomb in Afghanistan yesterday. However what I have read tells me 77 (or more ) US servicemen were injured, none seriously, so the loonies didn't get a spectacular.

It's not just the US who are un-deploying troops. The UK has been doing the same for years, with no decent outflow or planning for ex service people. In fact the people who are in have more work to do with less resources. Which is bizarre when you look at the recent conflicts and upcoming shit storms we are likely to be involved in.

Well at the moment the Prince of Wales will be fitted with cats and the QE wont so it seems you will start off with a helo carrier which no doubt will end up as the new Ocean but i would be surprised that in her first refit they are retrograded.
