cool, Buzz. I just retired. Might spend two weeks straight fishing the Red Drum season in VA, down for another two weeks for stripers before thankgiving.

I just left Colorado, yesterday.
I was up near Steamboat.

My son-in-law is going elk hunting.
I gave him a .270 a couple of years ago.

Yeah, black powder is all I use now. I like the challenge, and the the season too. It's during the rut, and it's not crowded like the rifle seasons.

You know how unsocialable I am. :D

Probably not as accurate as yer "smoke pole".
Oughta have better penetration and bleeding out, I would think.

Crossbow's were the first "armor penetrators".
