ya I guess all those "Shovel ready" projects weren't quite "shovel ready"
I would laugh, but actually it's really sad

Re: Shocking Charge...
Is this the "no you are" defense?
None of you said anything about Romney's lies. None of you say anything about Romney doing a 180 on almost everything he says. He tells you sheep what you want to hear, and you just soak it in. He's even trying to turn around his 47% comment now. He has no backbone. He's a car salesman, and you guys are buying his junk.
Pathetic.

Re: Shocking Charge...
Now Buzz, you've had every opportunity to "point" out the lies you claim, were told.
We're all still patiently waiting.
I've gone "out of my way" to show you an example or two, on how to point it out.
I just want you to know, that I do realize, you're trying to fix yer rear end and that
you lost yer bearings. It happens.

Re: Shocking Charge...
interestingly I didn't hear you call Obama on any of his lies...... in fact you did the exact opposite you defended them. Pot meet KettleBuzz wrote:Is this the "no you are" defense?

Buzz is probably up to his elbows, repairing his rear end.
He's had a rough ride. Slick should'a been here for'm/forum.

Re: Shocking Charge...
I'll talk about Obama's lies as soon as you address Romney's. I asked first, and gave you tons of links to read. Surely you trust one of those web sites, or every damn channel on tv.
Don't you believe anybody else other than what come out of Romney's mouth?
This is like arguing with kids.
Yes, it's hard to concentrate. My Jeep is pissing me off. Hunting season is coming up, and I can't find the parts I need. Everything is special on the Jeep, and some parts are not available, except to be machined up again. Not easy to get done when you're in a rush.

Re: Shocking Charge...
Buzz, these folks are so hepped up to defeat Obama, they don't care what they replace him with. Doesn't matter if Mitt was for healthcare plan, then against it. Doesn't matter that he said he would fight abortion rights, but now won't. Doesn't matter that Ryan would gut Medicare or eliminate mortgage deductions, Mitts says no way to get elected. And, so on. All I can hope is that the US voters see Mitt for the opportunistic, lying crap pile he is. Partisan rhetoric? Those of you hear ought to remember that being my objection to Hillary Clinton, so it isn't a party thing.
At any rate, it's off to Indiana for Slick, to bring the grandkids to their finally-settled-in parents, and return my life to peace and quiet(and fishing, painting, dining out and travelling). See you all next week sometime, as I have no set schedule to return.

Re: Shocking Charge...
Years ago Buzz, I had a 1976 Ford F100 4X4, I broke/twisted off the rear output shaft on the transfer case. So, I called the Ford dealership to get the part. They didn't have it in stock, they could order it and it would take 4-6 weeks to get it. They wanted +$400.00 upfront. I called around some more, same deal.
I found out, who made the part, Borg Warner. Called them. Paid $126.00 for it, to include overnight shipping. Had it the next day and installed same. This was all, long before Gore invented the internet. Hang in there, call around some more. Hope this helps.

well an honest man would not have traveled down the path that only one of the politicians in the race is a lair.
which seems to be the Democratic talking points and your intent to spread around to try and smear a candidate that is clearly on the move in this election.
We can’t expect to solve our problems if all we do is tear each other down. You can disagree with a certain policy without demonizing the person who espouses it. You can question somebody’s views and their judgment without questioning their motives or their patriotism. Throwing around phrases like “socialists” and “Soviet-style takeover” and “fascist” and “right-wing nut” -- that may grab headlines, but it also has the effect of comparing our government, our political opponents, to authoritarian, even murderous regimes. Now, we’ve seen this kind of politics in the past. It’s been practiced by both fringes of the ideological spectrum, by the left and the right, since our nation’s birth. But it’s starting to creep into the center of our discourse. And the problem with it is not the hurt feelings or the bruised egos of the public officials who are criticized. Remember, they signed up for it. Michelle always reminds me of that. The problem is that this kind of vilification and over-the-top rhetoric closes the door to the possibility of compromise. It undermines democratic deliberation. It prevents learning –- since, after all, why should we listen to a “fascist,” or a “socialist,” or a “right-wing nut,” or a left-wing nut”? It makes it nearly impossible for people who have legitimate but bridgeable differences to sit down at the same table and hash things out. It robs us of a rational and serious debate, the one we need to have about the very real and very big challenges facing this nation. It coarsens our culture, and at its worst, it can send signals to the most extreme elements of our society that perhaps violence is a justifiable response.

why is it that the man that spoke those words cannot abide by them..
Adversity doesn't build character is reveals it
seems like some character is getting revealed
while I wont play word games with you over Romney's statement over the word Lie's or Opinions. because many statement made by both candidates could be interpreted as either.
I will point to what the White house, the Administration, and the President himself said after the Benghazi attack as a PROVEN lie by all of them. but I'm sure you just dismiss and refuse to answer that comment as some FOX news conspiracy to smear the President.
