Still, I ask, what core interest is it to the French down that way? The colonial horse has long since left the barn, they aren't very dependant upon oil in France, so why risk one's troops? Also, Pud, you claim a vast superiority to the Canadians in the first post. Really? It seems to me that the Canadians have a long history of valiant service, when such service is truly necessary. They've had the US' back far more than once. Your claim makes no sense. Not surprising, I suppose, but really?
Canadian valiant service, history of?
Last in, first out.

"They've had the US' back far more than once."
Yes they have. "It's called riding on the coat tails."
:P

You mean like how the Americans were in both World wars.

State point and fact of Canadians being "last in, first out" or shut the fuck up you stupid brick-head!
Seriously, state point and fact ..... I'm waiting.

BS. French soldiers are tough as nails.

WWII was lost because of politicians (socialists ruined the war efforts, politicians fucked up the battle plan), but the soldiers did as well as they could.

The first tank battle of the war was won by the french, and as a matter of fact I'm opening a small business in a town that looks odd. It looks so odd that I googled what had happened to it during both world wars & it turns out it had been flattened completely by german artillery because a french regiment held there:

5th company of the 53rd regiment of mixed colonial infantry (both black & white soldiers, and as a matter of fact the company was led by a black captain who was commanding white officers... while you'se guys were all segregating & shit). Set up a support point within a few houses.

4th june a german assault is repelled
5th june another german assault is repelled
6th june the german surround the city and start bombing it with both artillery & air strikes. The regiment holds on
Because of the resistance, a german envoy is sent to talk and try to get the defenders to surrender, but the commander of the regiment refuses.
Later on, german light infantry tries to infiltrate the city & they are repelled by a counter attack by captain N'Tchoréré, the commander of the 5th company.
in the night between the 6th & the 7th, the bombing resumes, and is followed by a new attack with tank support. Also repelled, 8 panzers are destroyed.
New german infiltration, manages to destroy the ammunition depot of the bataillon. Without ammo the leader of the regiment decides they can't hold the city anymore, and decide to break out of the siege by the south with an assault. Captain N'Tchoréré asks for the "honour to stay behind to cover the withdrawal of the regiment", which the leader of the regiment accepts.
While the regiment break the siege on the south, 5th company faces a german assault from the north. The germans manage to destroy the last pokets of resistance only with flame throwers.
At 10pm the company has 15 valid men, 10 africans & 5 europeans, all of them without ammo. They raise the white flag and surrender. Captain N'Tchoréré leading the men.

The 25th german infantry regiment separate the blacks from the white. Captain N'Tchoréré refuses to be considered an untermensch and says he must be treated as a french officer. In spite of the protest of his comrades, he is executed by the germans by a bullet to the back of the head (7th panzer division of Rommel (nothing like SS or anything like that)).

Basically. You'se guys can all blow me.

BTW I have to agree with resdouche that america only enters a war when the bulk of the carnage is already done, to reap all the benefits of the victor.

That makes perfect sense seeing how the Americans didn't bother showing up until the 11th hour.
