Re: Tomorrows Executive Mandate on Gun Control
What's funny to me Slick?
What action is Congress gonna take between now and tomorrow morning?
I must be gettin' to ya...You is really taking some poetic license by adding
extra inflamatory goodies to what I wrote...seemingly to change the meaning,
so you can "attack/argue" with yourself and not me.
Also, now where in yer speech?
Did ya justify or attempt to justify...what Obama sez he gonna do tomorrow?
How come, he ain't gonna wait...?
Is there some National Emergency going on...that nobody is aware of?
Let's say, Obama does...whut he says he's gonna do tomorrow?
What's that gonna change? When there ain't nothing available anywhere to regulate?
Think about the consequences? Obama apparently didn't/hasn't. Though, if he did think about'em...you're in trouble, just like the rest of us.

Re: Tomorrows Executive Mandate on Gun Control
not a damn thing. That's the point. There won't be any Executive Mandate(whatever the fuck that means) either, tomorrow. I suspect, what little happens via executive order will be around enforcement of current law.Pudfark wrote:What's funny to me Slick?

what did he say he was going to do, beyond present a report and frame his plan? Also, now where in yer speech?

wait? For what, the next mass killing? 250 or so folks gave testimony, a report was finished, a week early, he presents before the new Congress convenes. How come, he ain't gonna wait...?
Seems a perfectly organized and reasonable schedule to me.
no, simply government doing what government is charged to do. Make laws for the public good. What are you babbling about? Is there some National Emergency going on...that nobody is aware of?
what are you afraid of? He's giving a speech. That is what he is doing tomorrow. He MAY sign a couple Executive Orders. So what?Let's say, Obama does...whut he says he's gonna do tomorrow?
oh, so the entire national response to a wave of inner city, and whackjob violence ought to be timed around ammo manufacturing schedules? What's that gonna change? When there ain't nothing available anywhere to regulate?
That doesn't really make sense. At all. Any readers out there shocked by that fact?

Well...R_D..your inability to "Manning Up" elsewhere is noted and while not over looked? Is forgiven. You're really not worth the time, except..when I'm bored and want the amusement.
I really hope you can come up with something else..other'n offering yerself up as a target. Twice in three years..you've done it with me. Twice, you been "bullseyed".
You keep it up? Folks are gonna start thinking?
You like it.
Me personally, I know you can dish it out.
I also know, as does everybody else here,
You Can't Take It.
Later...dude.

Compared to the Libyan investigation?
"wait? For what, the next mass killing? 250 or so folks gave testimony, a report was finished, a week early, he presents before the new Congress convenes.

You gotta admit...that's disingenuously speedy...

**TURN ON FULL PANIC MODE!!!!**
I love it when you attempt a calm, rational discussion, Pud. Might I suggest a nice meal, a few cold ones(go down to the Purple Pig) kiss a pretty woman,
perhaps the wife(your call, with veto power to SWMBO, of course). The world, as we know it, will not end tomorrow.

What ain't calm about this discussion?
I just find it interesting...that 250 peoples testimony (affidavits or such) can be compiled so readily, quickly on something that happened about a month ago?
and
Something that happened almost five months ago...is still waiting on one person
and their testimony, apparently indefinitely.
Hopefully, "Slow Joe" will give ya a heads up...on the big picture?

Re: Tomorrows Executive Mandate on Gun Control
hmmm, it seems(and I am reluctant even addressing something so FAR off the entire thread topic)that with Benghazi, not only are two inquiries finished, but a few people lost their jobs, changes were made to embassy security worldwide. Not bad for under 6 months. If we make that much progress in 6 months on gun violence, they should erect a Monument in DC to Obama before he even leaves office!

Oh...so that excuses....Hillary?
and makes the other...Ok?
I learned...around here...to call that?
Pretty Slick...
Obama seems to be kinda slow in some ways...
More likely?
They'll erect a scaffold before a monument.
