the government doesn't issue insurance, save medicare.Barfly wrote:I was describing what the government will do, not insurers.
I worked with the implementation team for a brief period in PA and DC, but my area of expertise isn't a huge part of the whole thing. Yes, I've read the entire bill. Feel free to ask a real question. You haven't heard ME coming in here and expressing confusion, I know pretty much precisely how the thing is going to work for me and my family. All I don't know is the annual cost and the details of my options. I'm ok with the cost to government, as 3 separate studies have shown the net cost to the govt over 10 years to be negative. Whether it saves us 500 million or 900 billion bucks will have to be seen, but, as long as it isn't adding to the deficit, I'm ok. If we were going to do things right, we'd just have Universal Care(lifetime Medicare) and join the rest of the civilized world, but, the more I read here, I wonder if America of 2013 really IS still in the civilized world.Barfly wrote:As if you've read any of the bill or are 'connected'. Go do some research instead of waiting to hear something.
Love the ass covering modifiers you stuck in there, as per usual.callmeslick wrote:I worked with the implementation team for a brief period in PA and DC, but my area of expertise isn't a huge part of the whole thing. as per usual, nothing of substance, just more shots at me. Maybe you all should ask Tolwyn to rename this forum Slicks Place. No, please don't.Barfly wrote:Love the ass covering modifiers you stuck in there, as per usual.
it's the part around lab coverage rules or exclusions. As I said, a small part.my area of expertise isn't a huge part" - right... it's no part.
which has pretty much been my point, hasn't it?"Yes, I've read the entire bill. Feel free to ask a real question." in other words, you have access to it like everyone
and you've demonstrated, well, nothing insofar as insight at any point in the debate."I know pretty much" - in other words, you don't at all
not really, but then again, you don't have a clue what the bill entails, so saying this isn't shocking. I have NEVER known the exact details of my coverage until October, even when I had employer health plans. That's the way the contract process works."I don't know is the annual cost and the details" - that's everything
I'm pretty sure I have both, likely far more than you, I'd guess, and stand by the comment. Just look at what passes for 'discourse' with you clowns. Twenty or so posts since I was at my desk yesterday, virtually every one some sort of snarky comment on me, nothing of substance in any of them. Civilized society depends on civil discourse, and I see that getting harder all the time in this wierdly polarized nation."I wonder if America of 2013 really IS still in the civilized world." - with broader life experience, and travel you would not have that perspective.
really, you know before the new contract year exactly the copays and other details? I never did in 28 years.Pudfark wrote:Here's why you may get your self perceived "snarky" comments.

Complete Bull Shit or you're an admitted Fool.
