Putin is a dictator, preying on the easy target of nationalism to smokescreen his own people, who he is victimizing.

Not surprising that a wanabee fascist says he 'rocks'. Obama does surprisingly well given that the long-discredited neocons are trying to steer him
to nuclear war.

sort of funny to note is that Slappy's suggested solution is EXACTLY what Obama is putting in motion.

1. Limited initial sanctions(but enough to drive the Russian stock market down)
2. Realignment of Eurozone oil and gas supply to cut the Russians out(that would KILL their economy)
3. Send aid to Ukraine directly(oddly, the GOP seems to be unwilling to do this, unless 501C political organizations are allowed in campaigns)

You sound like one of them "considerate" folks in Europe...in the late 1930's.
And....you sound like an "inconsiderate" survivor in the late 1940's.

Correct Nic.
Hell...the Ukrainians weren't even willing to fight for themselves...anymore than Obama was willing to help them fight.

were proper law and order followed, rather than holding a 'vote' at the end of a gun barrel, there would be no issue.
This ain't your business whatsoever.
it is the business of every nation in NATO, as there is a treaty involved protecting the sovereignity of Ukraine.
So just STFU.
sig heil!

@ 1. BFD (see #2)

@ 2. You apparently chose to "not do" yer homework. The russians control approx. 40% of Europes natural gas and russia can kill their people and economies...by withholding it. Seems you've forgotten, on purpose, history. Nobody has a thriving economy during a war...other'n the debt that's incurred to finance it. Plus, you ain't willing to provide...even at a profit...the gas Europe needs. So, STFU, does apply to you.

@ 3. Here's some common sense for ya? Analogy: You don't drive up to the bus stop in the ghetto, in yer Caddilac...and hand the little old lady there...$500 in cash....while the dope fiends are hovering around her....drive off in a cloud of dust...and BSing yerself....that you've done a good deed. When ya find out later in the day...she was stomped to death and robbed...and to clear yer conscious and excuse yer actions, blame the GOP fer making her poor.

Old Pudfark sez: " What is it about a "bar fight"? That "lib's" think...they can win with their lip? Other'n it's a bumper....fer their teeth. "
