what good does his being on the border do to addressing the problem? Are you stupid enough to think that maybe his HHS Secretary didn't report back when he went there twice in a week. What good comes of photo ops? Folks try to make this a Katrina comparison, but that's bogus. First off, the real problem wasn't that Bush didn't see it, it was that he didn't respond at all AND never saw it. Obama has been responding with every power he has short of declaring martial law there. There is just so much one can do without budgetary authorization. I see nothing but cheap political brownie points for a couple of Dem congressment coming out of the additional complication of having a full Presidential visit at the border region.

Well it did show...that he has no concern.
Now on the Katrina thingy...the feds did little to nothing and they did it late. Why? There was nothing in place and N.O. had Nagin.....who is spending the next 10 years in jail.
Not my problem at all that Obama's been peeing on the "Budgetary Hand" for the last five years and all the while illegally ignoring his oath and the law.
The only "brownie points" here is the "anal jihad" coming yer way and ya can reference that over in the frivolous rambling area.
