dontcha have to win a few more games? Sure, he had passing yards. Most quarterbacks do, when they are 3 touchdowns behind by halftime.

The Saints were a huge disappointment. On paper they were a deep playoff team. Maybe even a trip to the Super Bowl.
What happened is a bit perplexing. Brees didn't regress and the Saints had the number 1 overall offense. Yeah, the defense was average ... but how the Saints went 7-9 is just plain weird.

the offense started most every game sucking dick, big-time. Thus, getting the defense tired, and, as I said, looking at HUGE deficits almost every week by halftime. By the end of the season, they had nothing left in the tank. Some serious re-thinking needs to be done in NOLA.

Where are you getting this shit?

The Saints were leading at halftime in 8 of their games. (go ahead, look it up)
In the games they were not leading at halftime the scores were:
16-10
21-0
16-16
21-10
13-3
13-7
20-7

Those aren't HUGE deficits, Slick. (well, yeah, the 21-0 is ... but other than that)
So I'll ask again. Where are you getting this shit?

it just seemed to me that everytime I looked in on scores(NFL network), the Saints were trying to pull something out of the fire. Until the end of the season, when they seemed to lose heart and bungle the loss away. At any rate, Brees looked TERRIBLE in clutch situations. He never has before, so I suspect something to do with what he had to work with. Something ain't right.
