yes, he released minor level drug dealers, and small time criminals. This is part of a BIPARTISAN(as in Republicans largely favor it, too) push to cut down on incarceration, which currently stands at 2.8 million Americans. These are people serving long sentences, when laws have long since been changed to lighter sentences. We currently incarcerate people of color at 6 times the rate we do whites for the same offenses. Things are WAY out of whack. You make it sound like he's releasing major players, but that just is NOT the case, DH.
