Thanks, good read!
"This produced a radical mind-set......Among people too ill educated to understand the different spheres, political practitioners adopted the mental habits of the entrepreneur." - I see this a lot these days.
Now we have demonstrable evidence that if you try to lead from behind, eventually the guys up front will stop looking back for instructions.
Government-coerced expression is a feature of dictatorships that has no place in a free country

Agreed. A very good read.
The last paragraph sums it up quite nicely.

So, Slick, then what's your explain? Joe is slow and dull witted? There is no plan, nature will take it's course? Well?

At R_D, last night proved? Yawn, anybody can miss the 'debates'... Go Hillary and Go Trump 2016 ;)
BTW, Joe can miss them all, show up at the last moment and he still has a better chance than Hillary....don't believe me? Ask Slick. :)

what needs to be 'explained' to you? Seriously, what earthly reason does the sitting Vice President, with over 70 percent approval nationwide need to seek the approval of you, or anyone from that loony extreme the former Republicans decry? If he runs, he can win. If he doesn't, whoever has a D next to their name wins, and wins big over the dysfunctional GOP.

So, Slick....the close personal relationship you feigned with Biden over the years...has 'left' you clueless?
Biden won't 'declare' and it seems, neither will you...that's funny to me, in all the 'right' ways...and quite refreshing. ;)

NO ONE knows, not the folks running his Draft Biden effort(very close political allies), not his neighbors or friends in Delaware. Maybe Jill knows, hell, maybe Joe STILL is on the fence, emotionally. It sure as fuck isn't about me. He's a private man, and those who know that are just fine with it.

what on Earth would I have to 'declare' past what I've said......should he choose to run, he'll likely be able to win the nomination. And, whoever DOES win the Dem nomination is your next President. Seems both straightforward and uncomplicated to me. You, as usual, seem to be struggling. DH spelled it out for you: the GOP is a disaster, spinning even closer to complete lawn dart status. Wierd to watch, historic in the extent of the dysfunction, but very 'refreshing' news for any Democrat running in 2016.

Interesting Slick....your folks seem bored by their own....as to numbers viewing and remarking about the 'Dembate' the other night?
Notice, I was kind and didn't post the numbers. I 'feel' yer

you likely didn't post the numbers because they far exceeded the 10 million viewers expected beforehand. I think CNN teased Biden to get them to 16 million. Sure, that's 6 million less than a GOP debate on the same network, but does that translate into ANYTHING? We don't have a lineup of comics to amuse the crowd, just adults running for President. The other debate likely drew people, like me, who wouldn't ever vote for more than maybe 2 of the 16 on stage, just to watch them make asses of themselves.
