I have really started to see a trend growing on the news shows and web sites.
There are more Republicans coming out against Trump than there are Democrats coming out against Trump. The Democrats actually seem to WANT him to win the nom!
Erin Burnett had a Trump blood bath on her hands last night. She had two Repubes and two Dems on her panel .... and ALL four of them were slamming Trump. They were just sitting there agreeing with each other! I've never seen anything like it.
Burnett picked up on what was going on and started throwing them some seriously hard-ass questions ... AND THE FOUR OF THEM JUST KEPT RIGHT ON DOING IT! They just kept on agreeing with each other!
It was the strangest political round table I've ever seen. But it was 100% enjoyable.

current numbers suggest that Trump has a national ceiling of no more than 25%. Hillary wins every model of an election with Trump as an independent. She gets 45 minimum. Think of the Perot effect on Bush senior, but far worse, as Donald has blown the entire GOP reputation. They were heading, as I've long said, for oblivion in 10 years. Trump might just speed the process up a bit.

Every current model has been wrong about Trump.
Why? He don't play the game...the way it's "supposed" to be....keep dreamin', bullshit and a miracle is all ya to to look forward too.

I think, Pud, you are vastly overestimating Trumps pull in the rest of the nation. He may get some, conservative leaning, support outside of the deep south, but very little. A recent poll here in the Delaware valley shows a support from all voters around 12% for him. You would seem to be his typical supporter(lackey?), Pud. You have long seemed angry with standard Republicans, as well as Dems or pretty much anyone who doesn't inhabit your whack-job fringe(no respect for unarmed fellow citizens, right?). That is who Trump is selling his snake oil to, and you are lapping it up like a puppy dog. Never mind that he couldn't legally accomplish a single one of his promises. Never mind that he used to be a liberal Democrat 9 years or so ago. Never mind that he attended Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Keep deluding yourself, it's amusing as hell to the rest of us. All Trump seems to have as a goal is exposing how many sick fucks were in the Republican voting base, and essentially greasing the skids for a Hillary(or maybe Bernie as a longshot) Presidency.

Poll: 70% of Republicans Think Trump Will Be Nominee

A new Rasmussen Poll finds 70 percent of Republican voters saying they believe Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for President.

The high number is significant, because Trump has been roundly condemned over the last week by most of the media and many national Republican leaders. The White House spokesman Josh Earnest even said this week that Trump’s remarks about Muslim immigration “disqualified” him from the presidency. These criticisms are obviously not altering voters’ perception of the political landscape.
