He'd prolly say...'not only tax the rich and give to the poor...we could give a dab to middle class, while we quietly raise taxes on them too."
Here is some proof:
Obama to call for $10-per-barrel oil tax to fund clean transport
"Once again, t
he president expects hardworking consumers to pay for his out of touch climate agenda,” House Speaker Paul Ryan said in a statement, arguing
it would lead to higher energy prices and hurt poor Americans.

Yet again ... as always ... Slick posts a symphony, and Pud posts a Hee Haw nursery rhyme.

Thanks for the "long-windedness", I am weak in the economics subject (my education is in Military Science, Aviation Maintenance and Aviation Operations).

and to tie it in with electoral politics, DH? This sums up why I'm backing Sanders:
NO ONE in the GOP either grasps this, or at least gives a shit about addressing this. Hillary Clinton won't, either, I suspect, or do much other than re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic. I don't expect IMMEDIATE results from Sanders, I just expect him to change the dynamics of the discussion we've seen for too long.

I agree Slick that the status quo needs to be changed in a big way. In your opinion do you think that Sanders has the leadership abilities to make it happen?

yes, he does, DH, but in a very, very odd way. As I said, his strength, and thus leadership, is in his dogged determination to force a change in the whole discussion. He certainly(as did Obama) managed to galvanize close to 4 million people into sending money to support a guy who was 30% down in the polls two months ago. He is old, and doesn't try to act younger. He is sort of crotchety, and doesn't try to soften that. He simply keeps pounding away at the obviously bogus things we've been told about economics, the middle class, and all for years. He, among all the candidates from both parties, is the one guy out there who has a prayer of uniting a large enough chunk of the electorate to move forward. Kasich and maybe Hillary would be able to do the 'reach across the aisle' thing, but would still be operating on the same playing field. That has to change, as I've been prattling on for years here, because otherwise, THIS is where it's headed:

at the obvious...
40 years ago....? Folks were not blowing their money on cell phones, satellite TV, HD TV, ObamaCare, airbags, Federal Regulations, +$3.00 gas..entitlements...etc. Yes, I know....all of those things are now more important than a "paid for" home to socialists and libtards.
Next: Anybody who wants a higher education in this country...bad enough to already have the 'grades'...can get one. The problem is, they can't afford the debt that goes along with it...and the missing job, the Socialist Democrats are giving away daily.
