It's bullshit, because frankly the least complacent individuals, and the ones fighting the hardest to keep this nation tolerant, fair and welcoming are those of us who hark back to the Colonists. We've been raised to question, we've been raised not to accept easy bullshit from politicians. Further, while I agree that we at times go through periods of conformity, what we're dealing with at them moment is more a period of celebrating stupidity in the society as a whole.
