now, you all (Pud and Slappy) assert that the Russia thing is bogus. OK, let's run with that, and the obvious question becomes how come SO MANY individuals have told SO MANY LIES, and dodged so many inquiries? What are they hiding, and why? This thing, were it nothing, should have been well on the way to being cleared up by now, had we not had folks denying actions and meetings that were DOCUMENTED to have taken place. I know that counter intel and international finance inquiries take some time, but they sure would go a LOT quicker if EVERYONE from Kushner, to Flynn, to Pence, to Bannon, to Manafort, to all the rest simply opened the books, financial and meeting records and let us all know what was going on.
I'm NOT about to declare that there was clear collusion with an adversarial government here, which would be TREASON, and subject to hanging, but it sure smells real fishy and a lot of that reek is caused by the reaction, starting with the fake news response to PROVABLE facts, and the now-emergent broad effort by Trump to kill over all investigations(now 5 and counting).

this was, as most reports fleshed out, the work of Page's attorney, not the committee. He apparently has, like a couple, three others, asked for and been denied immunity. Congress learned from the Iran-Contra probe that granting immunity hinders prosecution.

Pud, you might wish to find a few, broader sources of info. The official word from the Dem and GOP leaders is that they never requested him yet, but are still sorting through documents. Not a word about Dems requesting he not testify. So, once again, Trump lies(over 900 since inaugural). Why?
