what seems clear, by the secretive and seemingly still unfocused work by the GOP is that the reality is that the whole setup of US healthcare is fucked up. The ACA was a band-aid of sorts, but people made it good and clear that what the GOP cooked up in the house was TERRIBLE(only 14% support?). Now, after whining about the ACA for 8 years, a law which saw nearly 150 public hearings, over half in the Senate, the GOP wants to put something to a vote with ZERO public hearings? I get that they don't want to see 2018 become a referendum on impeachment, but they better hope they vastly improve on the garbage bill the House passed(gives ME a $1600 tax break, gives you less bread on your shit sandwich, what a deal!), or else 2018 will be vote on Trump AND the destruction of peoples actual lives by an uncaring GOP Congress.

Pudfark wrote: Sat Jun 17, 2017 3:33 pm Obama gone, no hate. Obama fucked/taxed everybody out of their insurance. Fact.
I have no recollection of you spending that extra ten grand a year....before OshitCare came out?
never mentioned it, but I have been with this private practice since I retired and moved to Delaware.
I have no recollection of poor folks complaining about their health care before either...just you and a few demturds making it an issue..that it was not.
well, you sure as fuck weren't paying attention. I must have heard from hundreds, and personally assisted 5 or 6 paying medical bills that they couldn't afford.
I certainly have no recollection of the 'poor folks' hailing the wonderful qualities of OshitCare....and I challenged you for years, to post them, you did'nt.
more bullshit. I posted countless testimonials, and moreover, the Repubs are getting FLOODED with them. Quit lying, you don't make your point that way. Bottom line is that working people right above the poverty line are making out FAR better under the ACA. Note that 8 governors, half of them Republicans, are begging the Congress not to fuck with expanded Medicaid for just that reason.
Interesting to me....You 'silver spooners' never bitched, middle class got fucked and nothing changed for the poor folk.
why should we bitch? We're paying the bill but can afford it. IMHO, we can afford to do a LOT more for the poor, but getting the GOP to grasp that seems to be a challenge.
What's funny is you can put cheese on yer shit sammy, I get just bread and the shit and the poor folk still get the same shit. You call that a win.
It's a win compared to eating NOTHING, which is what you WERE going to see if something hadn't been done, but you apparently aren't bright enough to see that.
For sure, since age 21 until OshitCare, I've had health insurance that I liked what I had, used what I had and could afford what I had. I've never gone without it. You never talk about the middle class folks who took the brunt of the ass fucking that OshitCare dealt out. You've only been concerned with yourself and the 'poor folk'. When ya don't have nothing...backruptcy is a nothing and neither is ignoring the bills...there's nothing to take. OshitCare was sold on lies and you know it. It was a way/method to tax the shit outta the middle class. What happened to the $2500 savings Obozo promised...what happened to keep your doctor and keep your plan? In eight years my costs have more than doubled and deductible more than tripled. I can fix this whole shitdog in one stroke....go back to the way things were....nine years ago and a totally free market system. Get the fuck'n govt. outta of peoples business.... This you won't ever agree with....you want everyone else to be the same..same income..same thoughts..same healthcare..same benefits..same shitty food..Other than yourself. That's a sad, obvious tell on you.

Hey, here's a wake up call. In case you have been comatose for 15-20 years, THERE IS NO real 'middle class'. You are either well off, or some variation of poor, whether it be destitute, working poor, or the illusionary middle class. And yes, on this, as well as everything else in the economy, the whole lot of you are being hosed, and have been. Now, if you'd stop throwing rocks and insults at the folks sharing the basement with you, maybe the lot of you would grasp that its time to REALLY get change. Donald Trump sure as fuck isn't the vehicle for that change, unless it is indirect by forcing the nation to take a hard left turn like we are starting to see in England, Europe as the whole Nationalism Wave is crashing a bit.

Under the guise of threats and war...you foment change. Other folks have no guise...you'd better wake the fuck up, or you and yours won't. What did I mean? Well, have a few drinks....run yer mouth at the bar...get used like a mop, if'n yer lucky...you'll wake up in the bucket...because, somebody mistakenly...gave a shit.

One of the things I like about HH is he don't write 'a wall of BS' and then try to stick his finger up yer butt...to convince you.
That can't be said about others here.

What HH wrote is very concise verbiage of what you've said here....for years. I can understand why you don't like seeing it, curious, you never understood why we didn't either.... :?

look, the problem is how we handle healthcare. Don't blame Obama, don't blame Bush, either. We have just, as a people, allowed insurance companies to dictate the flow of cash which comprises 'Health Care Costs'. Other nations don't, and spend far less for equal or sometimes superior outcomes.

I'm really trying hard to work on my 'civility' imperfections...so bare with me. "problem is how we handle healthcare"...well when you take the "we" out of that equation, it ain't 'our' problem. It's my problem, personally, and no one else, which is the way I prefer it and it's never been a problem for me....until the government stuck their thumb up my ass and told me it was good for poor people. Don't know about you? But, I prefer the government keep their hands outta my pockets.

In a Free Market System absent corrupt government influence...the price of health care would drop more'n 50%...over the next couple of years. Keep Medicaid and Medicare make it separate from the rest of the Health Care Plans. Limit Overhead and Profit from Health Insurance as it is done in Property Casualty Insurance...which is (last time I looked) regulated to 10% overhead and 10% profit. Excess of either at the end of the year is returned to Policy Holder in the form of reduced premiums for that year. Cost will go down rapidly and stay there. R_D will love this: Let us by our medicine from Canada....Why? Well, all that lobbying from big Pharma...has driven our costs sky high. So get rid of them gold diggers too...then throw out all the middle men in the health care supply game which marks up the cost every time they handle the paperwork and not the product. Why is home owners insurance so relatively (compared to health) so cheap? Homes are old in this country too...if those costs had risen comparatively to health care...you'd be paying outta pocket the first 10-12 grand of yer hail storm damaged roof...that cost's 8 grand to replace. On top of that 5 grand a year to have the policy. If not, we'd be here arguing about all the homeless folk living on the street.
