Like the kennedy assination no one will accept the truth even if
it slaps you in the face.

Kennedy, one shooter, one whack job.

Tillman, accidental friendly fire.

To conspiracy junkies the truth is NEVER known.

Hey, some idiots believe we Americans never landed on the Moon!
This one is more incredable as the Soviets watched and tracked us.
Hell, they KNOW we landed on the Moon, and still the idiots believe
we did not.

Not sure about what was meant by "exploited", but it seems to me that he's not the only soldier who wrote home about dying.

Tillman died serving his country.....Slick, you'll probably croak on an overdose of Crow.......that being said, what's done is done....However, the Army chose to portray it? Take it up with Obama.

I would suppose he wrote the letter because he was in a combat zone and he was afraid to die, as most soldiers were. and if he did die, because of his high profile status and the big deal that the NFL and the Press were making of his giving up a promising Pro football career to serve was that he would be given a martyrs or hero's status. and this was against Pat Tillmans character.

Cuda hit it on the head. Talked to my Ranger buddy. He said he's felt basically the same way.
