The only way to prevent that would be to go live on some planet all by yourself...

Nope, I did not display the fools dribble.
Ignore is wonderful!
I prefer the posts of rational people.

I like Sara Palin, but I feel she can not win.

The only thing I see as a certainty is that our first Black President
will not be our last, but he will not be the first two term Black President.

Well Obama is worthless and an idiot but i don´t see anybody meaningfull replace him and change things for the better. Let´s face it: Thr downfall of the US will not be if it elects a "right" wing or "left" wing president, the downfall of the US will be its torn citizens, its "either this or that" politics, the hate, fear and general uneducated public, that often cherishes stupidity shown by public figures like sarah palin. The US soon will be a power of yesterday, one that i still hope will find its track.

For now to many people it appears that it oozes stupidity wherever you look but there still are enough reasonably people to steer in to the right direction. I´ve met enough americans to make that claim.

anyone got any ideas?

If it is a Demo I say it will be Hillary.
I do not believe she is retiring from presidential politics.

As a Libertarian and Republican I pick Newt Gingrich as the best choice.
Sara Palin as VP.

I see Obama only as a good excuse to have recall elections after the first year in office.
He really SUCKS.

My workplace is described perfectly, I work for the government.(albeit a state government)

Oozing, (actually gushing would be a better description), stupidity is one of their strong points along with fucking off massive amounts of taxpayer dollars and patting themselves on the back for their great moves.

I think your assessment of Obama is harsh, and you get to the reason why yourself....

Obama got noticed, elected and supported because he has been trying to overcome and repair this very divide. He seems to be one of the few major US politicians to 'get' the seriousness of this problem. Now, has he made some missteps along the way? Sure, and first among them was the hiring of Rahm Emmanuel, a very divisive figure in his own right. I think, or at least hope, that Obama has seen the error of that move, and the second half of the first term will prove if I'm right or not.
For now to many people it appears that it oozes stupidity wherever you look but there still are enough reasonably people to steer in to the right direction. I´ve met enough americans to make that claim.
agreed. But, there is a real problem with the combination of lack of information, misinformation and apathy among the electorate. We'll overcome it, I hope, and on most days that hope overrules my longterm fears.

and he did such an amazing job of actually creating MORE tension in the states than goldwater, from his "police acted stupidly", "get a shout out" moment before addressing the Ft. Hood situation, then tiptoeing on if the guy was even muslim, to washing the blackpanther voter intimidation under the rug, to calling out, by name citizens, he is the finest DIVIDER we've seen since the civil war.
TRUE!! He ran on the hope and change we all crave- but delivered shit.
He rallied the "I'm not Bush" to the point a year and a half AFTER he was elected he was still blaming the previous administration....
he sucks, he makes carter look brilliant and here's something you better grasp, Sarah Palin will be martyred into office over this crazy person in Tuscon, AZ.
I dont think she will be a good president, however she espouses the very things MOST americans hold dear- the more she is attacked the more of an underdog she will become.......now..who else was an underdog in a recent election...oh, right odrama...
so, come next election she runs on the "I'm not obama" banner. fucking brilliant....
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: obama.
Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

I'll guarantee you, Dawg, that Palin will not even get the GOP nomination. Guarantee. If you wish to make some sort of symbolic public wager here and now, suggest the specifics. That 'blood libel' reference killed her chance, forever.
