When the old folks, got old...they crawled off into the bushes to die,
so as not to drain the limited resources of their tribe...there was, for them, no other way.
Those that didn't crawl off?
Were dragged off to the bushes...there was, no other way.

You can change the equation.

You have to use logic, common sense and make hard decisions.
Take America for example......and change the equation.

Disband N.A.S.A. Let's worry about this planet before we go looking for the next one. You just saved trillions of dollars.
Eliminate political expense accounts. You want to take someone out for lunch....you pay for it. You want take a limo.....you pay for it. You want to get a hooker....you pay for the hotel room. You just saved a couple of trillion dollars.
Stop paying $160 for a hammer. (I'm sorry, I meant to say a "manually operated impact device") Buy your hammers at a hardware store. There, you just saved yourself 2 trillion dollars.
Pass laws to curtail frivolous law suits. There, you just saved a billion, trillion, gazillion dollars.

And so on, and so on, and so on........

Change the equation. Change the status quo.
We CAN afford it, Pud. The money IS there. We just have to free it up.

A man made or natural, cataclysmic population reducing event and
