I owned a 6.5 Carcano. Truth be kown it was a very nice rifle.
I would still own it if the damn thing was not so dependant
on stripper clips. I replaced it with a Sweedish M94.
And later a M38. I prefer the sweeds but the Carcano was so slick.
A very smooth action despite the drawback of a STIFF trigger pull with
an unpredictable release point.
To say that shot was not easy with a Carcano is pure bullshit.
But I will agree there were many better rifles for the job.
Oswald did it alone.
If he did not, then why did he kill the cop?
