Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say anything like that. You brought up the price of gas going up. That will happen all on it's own no matter what else happens.
I also never mentioned slick. The repubs are run by the tea party, and they don't want to see the rich taxed. Of course they don't. That would cost them more money personally. They're happy letting the middle class, and the poor pay the bills. They make me sick!
Answer one question with a yes or no. No side slipping riddles. Just a one word answer. Do you think the sequester is a good thing?
If you can get through that question with a one word answer. Let me ask you another one. Do you think the repubs not wanting to close tax loopholes on the rich, is causing the sequester?

well, since Pud thinks the sequester is hunky-dory, he can stop right now whining about any results of it, right?
Second, since he denies that GOP recalcitrance on taxation(loophole) changes has anything to do with it, I assume he never got around to watching
the news or reading some newspapers last night as he originally planned.
