A Complete Waste of Space

I found an interesting factoid this morning. Since 2009 when the Obama administration took over, our Government has added 84 new employee's a day so lets do a quick math count.
4 years time 365 days plus 1 for the leap year and about another 120 days since the re-election. that is approximately 1581 days x 84 that's 132,804 new government employees since Obama took office.

The President says in an ABC interview, that the WhiteHouse tour cut were mandated by the CIA and not by the WhiteHouse. But just a couple of hours later spokeman Jay Carney says that the tour cuts are solely the discretion of the Whitehouse and not the CIA. Apparently Carney didn't get the memo

So which one got it right?

well, not you. The tours were closed by the Secret Service requesting them be closed for budgetary reasons.

Bullshit according to jay Carney The SS had no say so in the matter and the decision was the whitehouse and the whitehouse alone. He said it in the press conference just yesterday. I guess you didn't get that talking points email

well, the WH is the ultimate decision point. The SS staff merely pointed out the cost. Seems like a rational decision to me. Frankly, the more important point is that, over time, the sequester will really start to impact more serious matters. You are only 2 weeks in, now, so this is but the tip of an iceberg that could chill out a clearly recovering economy. And, Ryan's suggested budget is a freaking joke.....as if he didn't understand word one of what the voters clearly stated last election. Recent polling showed the electorate OVERWHELMINGLY favors raising taxes(even on middle class, if needed) over: Cutting SS, Cutting Medicare, cutting Education spending(this one by a whopping 32 percent margin), or cutting unemployment comp or food assistance. Ryan simply acts as if this isn't the case......House of Representatives my ass, they represent nothing beyond their limited(and limiting) view of government. The People disagree.
