just because you cannot defend the President and VP living high on the hog while the rest of us need to cut is not our problem.
I don't feel the need, because, as President/VP combos go, they have been extremely austere, actually. Go look that one up, if you dare....
Maybe the President could have left his personal food taster at home when he went on this trip. and yes the King has a food taster.

apparently he thought the GOP members of congress were going to poison him
heard the story, don't disbelieve it, but agree it might be a bit excessive....even with this particular GOP delegation.

Still, I hear much whining, not much substance, out of your argument. The way I see it, they have been doing a damned good job of trying not to really hurt many people and cutting relatively insignificant things, so far. Of course, SO FAR is the working phrase here, and it isn't going to go that way for that much longer, before the furloughs and such begin.

and I'm not playing your double talk games where you change the subject by asking me a question. stick to the topic

Then back to the original issue that you ignored. if we have this sequester pain on the horizon as you put it, then why did the Administration just give 500 million to a terrorist organization, instead of using it to ease the pain of the furloughs?

since when is the Palestinian Authority(a recognized national entity according to the UN and around 90 nations worldwide) a 'terrorist organization'. That isn't a recognized fact by any federal agency, world authority or other reputable source. Even the Israelis don't view the PA as a 'terrorist organization'. Once, again, may I point out that making things up does NOTbolster either your case, or your personal integrity.

p.s. howcome no posts elsewhere? Are you having log-in issues again? If so, Liberals are standing by, ready to assist you.....

I like how ya avoided the 500 million dollar "throw away" question, Slick.

So, here it is again

CUDA: "Then back to the original issue that you ignored. if we have this sequester pain on the horizon as you put it, then why did the Administration just give 500 million to a terrorist organization, instead of using it to ease the pain of the furloughs?"

;)

Edited to add the below:

"It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

I repeat, the PA is not a terrorist organization, so prefacing your question with a flat-out lie sort of destroys any credibility.

So...again....."passing the buck" and relying on opinion to argue
semantics to avoid the point. ;)

bullshit. who's lying? it sure isn't me.
A Us judge has ruled that the Palestinian Authority has the right to cover up a memo linking it to a suicide bombing that killed two teen American citizens in Israel,
the PA has ties to Hamas, Fatah and to the Popular Front For The Liberation Of Palestine. ALL are known or suspected terrorist organizations. and again please STAY ON TOPIC. you are still attempting to deflect from the Administration screaming hardship on it's people while at the same time doling out MILLIONS to people that they shouldn't. and not to mention that the during the VP trip to France they spent $300+ thousand dollars on limo service and $600k on hotel rooms.
Traveling with Vice President Joe Biden has its perks.

Just ask the large entourage that went with him on a recent trip to Paris. A blog with the conservative news magazine The Weekly Standard points to a government document showing a $585,000 contract for Biden's stay at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand hotel.

Biden did spend an evening in Paris in early February, but there are no details in the document about whether this contract is accurate or what the final hotel bill came to. A standard room in the hotel costs about $475 a night, and the royal two-bedroom suite runs about $3,900 a night.
your constant attempt to deflect away from the fact that you cannot defend the actions of the administration is boorish

and I haven't been posting on the other forum because there hasn't been a decent topic

It seems CUDA....Slick copped out with no answer.

Again

He's been doing a lot of that lately....

It's hard for him to explain things...when there is only one explanation and
for him, that explain, sucks...............big time. ;)

Update Harry Reid screams sequester pain at airports by closing towers, airports, and furloughing controllers. While blocking republican legislation today that would have prevented it.

Seems like Slick has ya on "ignore", CUDA.

Which put's him in the HH category....
No disrespect HH, you have good reasons.
Slick don't.
