A Complete Waste of Space

Airport security is a hoot and a giggle.....in the U.S.

The public is so serious about this.....I cannot stop laughing...they all want someone else to do "something"....when all they have to do is put their hands up against the wall and be subjected to the same search that a cop would do, prior to placing them in the back seat of the patrol car and taking them to jail.....This would take 20 seconds a person...yet, they would rather wait in line two hours...and take a chance.....I am still laughing....

Add to that...importing terrorists to educate them in our universities....and the funny list gets longer......

now, Pud, I can say that I've only been frisked twice by law officials, but......there is no way a standard frisk search would pick up plastic explosives, liquid explosives or the like. Add in the time that has to be taken searching the (far more potentially dangerous) carry-on items, and you get well past '2 minutes per person', and do little to alleviate any risk. Still, as I say, overreaction carries every bit as much danger, in terms of spreading fear though the entire population on a daily basis, that under-reaction.

Well...Slick...there be a big difference between "Frisk" and "Search".....Search finds everything! You is really "slick" about changing folks word...and then the meaning.....I meant specifically the words I chose and used. It don't take two minutes to Search anyone or their carry on stuff...period. I know. You don't. It shows.

you were the one saying two minutes. No way a thorough search is going to run 2 minutes per traveller.
