I ran across this blog article written about a year ago on a Russian's perspective of what is going on here in the USA.
I found it interesting.

good read, Darkhorse. I actually don't agree with the 'descent into Marxism' premise, but the US is in a serious decline, and the author hit one of the key reasons at the outset: decline of a classical education, and rise of a pop-cultural worship. I sort of wonder about some of his links of Obama to Marxism and then to
Wall Street bankers. I also would strongly argue his statement that the US is the home of unfettered free market capitalism. Actually, history will show that the US 'golden age', economically speaking was marked by very much regulated capitalism, with restraints placed upon absolute free markets by both the government and the corporate boards, simultaneously(I'm talking about the 1950-70 range, by the way). Still, an interesting take on matters. I take it that he isn't going to support Obama's re-election campaign......

thank you, ruggie......I was really starting to worry about no one commenting on the obvious.
The t-shirt is attempting to point out the dangers, through irony, of blind ideology.

Old Pudfark sez: " Cut..Cut..Cut..Cut..and Cut some more, then forever, a balanced budget... "
