Ya gotta case trim to much with the .220....nearly same ballistics with a 22-50, less work. ;)
Either will do... :D Then again, a .22 CB cap to the cabeza..will have'm doing the zombie...in no time. ;)

not casting a ballot, but clearly Dems. Note: there are women and people of different skin colors in that photo.

Clearly casting their 'vote' in/at the DNC ballot box. I liked the pic...cuz it shows both stupidity and cultural diversity and the long lines to come..

Old Pudfark sez: " Yup...it was rumored? That nobody gave a shit to vote...clearly this is a casting call moment...for progressives...hurry up and weight...it's a virtual honey hole... "

My favorite for the job is a Rem 40X in 25-06.
27.5" barrel and very accurate.

Long distance.
Next best thing to being there.....

I hate to sound like I'm trying to one up ya HH..... I've always been mighty fond of the .257 Weatherby.... 8-)

The Weatherby is all around a better cartridge.
Head spacing on the belt is far superior to a re-loader.
And the Weatherby has more gonads.

At 300 yards either one would easily stop a man of any size.
Even a graze by a bullet traveling at mach2+ would incapacitate
nearly anyone.

I liked the Sierra 87 gr Spitzer flat base over a case full
of IMR 4350 on Woodchucks. It made them look like a bug on a windshield...

RX19 was just as good and had a tad higher MV with the long barrel.

I used to 'bink' little varmints with my .270 and 90gr Sierra HP's....muzzle velocity around 3500fps...and nothing left to bury. ;)

Another little fun gun was Thompson Center Contender w/14" barrel in .35 Remington.....using .380 cal. 88 gr JHP's....at an unknown velocity....however, about half the time....bullets would disintegrate about 15' out of the barrel. When they didn't? Destruction similar to the .270 load above. 8-)
