Nicolas10 is displaying a typical French attitude....of arrogance and disrespect....and then he tries to cover it up by personalizing it...Twice in the last century France was invaded/conquered by the Germans and twice the Allies and U.S. had to bail them out...both times at great expense and loss of life to both..... When you are at expansion topic, I'm more worried (relatively speaking) by the Chinese expansion than Islamic expansion.

Maybe because I don't buy all that religion invasion BS, but I buy economic expansion and crushing other countries economies.

Some of you guys need to rethink some stuff... Islam per se (as a religion) is not the problem.... it's all kind of problems those people there have... or should I rephrase.

Say they all convert to Christianity (or anything else) tommorow.

Zip... there will be again some warlords who would go crusade on everyone that they seem to fit and they will have followers because they have nothing to lose (but also nothing to gain with those people in charge, but they can't really comprehend it...).

I mean some of you guys need to start thinking 21st century style, not being in mindset 20th or 19th century...that simply doesn't work.

reminds me of reading in Anthony Beevor's "The Fall of Berlin 1945", a common sign in the city at that time was to indicate air raid shelters/bunkers, shortened into the German as "LSR"
Berliners at the time often joked that "LSR" actually meant "Learnt Schnell Russich", or "learn russian quickly"

I can't help but feel that within the next 40 years, one would be wise to "learn chinese quickly"
