McCain just went out of the spotlight a hero, an absolute hero to over 75% of the public, after a few years of obvious ups and downs. Good for him, now let him fight that bugger of a cancer. Very aggressive class of neuroblastoma if I was reading correctly.

McCain suckered Mitch into that one. Had he killed it at the point of debating reconciliation, they could have foisted this bullshit on us again. Now, they'll have to do it RIGHT BEFORE an election in which the GOP is already looking to be in deep shit over. Add in the fact that Senate primaries in the GOP might be looking like litmus tests of Trump loyalty and next fall should be hilarious.
