hell, if he's too lazy to look up the data, he can remain ignorant. You seem determined to do do.

Yup...while they was laying down there life...their last thoughts were about health care for the "clueless". All of life is a gamble. Always will be. Smart people survive. Dumb one's have never survived. The "unfortunates" often don't. That's called life.
Not my rules, Nature's rules.

Now we're getting some where?
I've noted over the last few years when you get exasperated,
you resort to name calling.
It's not my intent, nor do I believe it is Barfly's to "run you down" here or elsewhere.
Apologies from me to your person.
Let's revisit this later.

Now here's some "free" universal health care for ya.
How, timely? Just ask the "doctor".
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/09/0 ... g-surgery/
"the man’s incident was recently reported to
Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare by the man’s daughter, and the board
has issued ‘stinging criticism’ of the hospital’s policies."
Old Pudfark sez: " That really
"hurts"? Don't it? Sorta makes a fella
want to get as much of it....as he can afford, for free. "
Just in case you "doubters" is a wondering? Here's a link and a quote.
http://www.sweden.se/eng/Home/Society/H ... in-Sweden/
"Health care: Equal access — key to keeping Sweden healthy"
Everyone in Sweden has equal access to health care services under a largely decentralized,
taxpayer-funded system. Like many other countries, Sweden faces numerous challenges, such as funding, quality and efficiency of its health care services."

Sorry, Slick. But I'm too busy selling my house, car, boat, RV, coin collection and wedding ring. I've cashed in all my insurance policies and retirement savings plan as well.
You see, I'm going down to the United States to have a hang nail removed from my left thumb.
I'll need the cash.

Yes you will R_D. You can choose your own doctor that way.
You can also hold the doctor accountable. The best part?
Nobody can tell you? No.
You might could barter it?
Trade some "lip-oh-suction"...

I can go on, but that 23rd in the world ranking isn't some random poll, it's a compilation of HARD COLD FACTS, compounded by the other FACT that we are paying 2-3 times what the rest of the Western world is, per person, towards health care. Add in the FACT that we are the only civilized nation which allows a citizen to go bankrupt due to health costs, lose all health benefits upon losing a job(until the individual has so little money left as to receive public assistance), and one is left with the conclusion that any fool who doesn't see a significant problem with the US status quo has his or her head up their ass.
I have a go at infant mortality, as I have reviewed the issue in the past.

This information is readily available, this is just one article on it. Different countries use different measures for what a live birth is, and that skews the data. In our relatively free market health care system, any baby that is alive upon birth is considered a live birth, regardless of health condition such as premature. That is not the case in Japan, Germany, or Sweden, where low birth weight or babies that do not survive 24 hours are considered still born. Government managed healthcare systems that pump up their numbers to look good to the international community. If you don't believe this sort of thing goes on, then you can't be helped when it comes to doing even elementary research. You should know better than to rely on information about the US from any UN agency, or these days, in Obamas administration, some of our own government agencies that are directed to display data in a way that makes a case for 'improving' our health care system through more government intervention.
