Yet it needs to be done and will fix things in the long run. So why not do it?

I agree, Ruggie, just differ on the level of priority, with so much stuff on the table.

I hate how all of these programs end up being corporate money grabs. The health care bill no longer has a public option, so it is pretty much useless. Any bill to update the Internet infrastructure will be given out as profits to the telcos and cable companies like [ur=

Surprisingly, it was just released that there were shenanigans going on at AIG that just happened to be withheld from the public until after they received bail out money. It is too bad people waste time with phony tea parties, instead of going after the real criminals in corporate America.

Apologies for the lag time....Slick...again you won't answer...It ain't about Obama ordering CSPAN to cover anything....can't you read?...don't you watch the news?...or read the newspaper?...CSPAN is taking Obama to task for not allowing them to broadcast the health care debate...are you just stupid or naive?...your nonsense no answers to questions and then deliberate misdirection underline the apparent cover up going on...You occasionaly mention your daliance with politicians and it shows here in your remarks made here.....Obama does have the authority to order the dems to let CSPAN in.....He ain't doin it....
Tell me why? Since he won't..........ya know, you be the one with the connections.....right?
Old Pudfark sez: "Here comes some more bull shit via Slick".........

CSPAN doesn't cover it because this admistration just wants to shove the goddamn thing down our throats. Exactly the same way Clinton shoved his anti-terrorism bill down our throats and how Bush shoved the Patriot Act down our throats. And we saw how well the latter two things worked. Shoe bombers, knee bombers, WTC buildings (during Clinton and Bush). Our government in general is about enslaving us whether it be by loss of rights or by loss of money left in our pockets. The best way to make a dent in the fecked up health care system is to get out of the drug companies pockets. But that would mean that most of D.C. would have to take a pay cut. Big Drug is the number one problem with health care right now, with the insurance companies right along side. Fix those things by regulation then we'll see some relief.
Before Slick comes in with the tact that he can't believe I want more regulation, yeah I do. Everything is regulated nowadays anyhow. Time to punish big business instead of the people.

Interesting, offhand Rugg do you know (as a small business owner yourself) the proportion of the American GNP in the hands of small and medium enterprises as opposed to large companies? Heard that is the case in many countries.

Like I say, I don't know where you are getting your news, but I haven't read that Obama is the source of blockage. I think it's clear they don't want coverage of the horsetrading and strongarming involved, by 'they, I mean Congress. Let's be clear here, I don't particularly like the healthcare bill. Having the GOP block everything meant a watered down, overcompromised mess that is far too generous to the insurers. It will be interesting to see if the public is dumb enough to give the GOP a pass on that outcome, and blame it all on the Dems.

That's a direct result of the crybaby in-fighting that's been going on for the past decade or so. Both sides should be ashamed of themselves.

+1 for the Ruggstirs previous comment....
Slick how can you not like the Health Care Bill? You don't know what's in it...and you are not able to view the process to know....You are as limp and informative as Robert Gibbs....with a dose of "blame the GOP"....and a large pinch of "change the subject"....mixed with an attitude of "I just told you"...and you must be a moron if ya don't agree with me....
When it comes to the current Health Care controversy....No one knows anything...except the priviliged few in the closed room.......WHY?
