TOP OBAMA AIDE: 'WE'RE IN FOR A SHIT STORM IF WE LOSE THE SENATE'

A top Obama aide says if pollsters' projections of a GOP Senate takeover hold up on Election Day Tuesday, President Barack Obama and his administration are in for a world of hurt.

"We know we're in for a s**t storm if we lose the Senate. You have to gird yourself mentally 'cause you are going to come out on the other end," a "top Obama aide" told Politico Magazine.

The aide added, "But, you hit bottom, and then you have the Obama comeback story."
Politico says such a comeback, however, is unlikely.

:)

the funny thing to me.....is without Reid to 'shitcan' the congressional bills....Obama gonna have to work overtime....vetoing the Tsunami of bills....headed his way. Yup, Billary will be a 'shoe in' in 16...not. Obama is gonna look, finally, like the obstructionist he has been...and certainly, will become.

Old Pudfark sez: " Slick....not only did Obama totally feck this country...he totally fecked your party and ewe.....no amount of 'mint jelly' gonna fix it....it's gonna take decades. "

Yup. That's why your looming election really won't matter for much regardless of who wins.
Your do-nothing-get nothing-done Congress is about to become just the next incarnation of your do-nothing-get-nothing-done Congress. Same shit, different day. Just different faces.
You merricans don't need more elections .... you need a political overhaul. Your system is strangled and broken. It's not politics any more, it's war.
American politicians don't think, "Lets work to get this done". They think, "Lets say and do absolutely anything we have to in order to make sure the other guys can't get anything done".
And it's the American people who suffer.
Your system has become so divisive as to almost serve no purpose.

Good luck with your election, guys. But when the sun rises the next morning ... it won't matter for shit.

sadly, Res, it isn't the system to blame, it's the players.

 Gridlock will no longer be an issue after the first of the year.....
Gridlock only existed because of Hairy Reed.....Hairy begone after the first of the year.... :D
No one left to run interference for Obama....... ;)
Obama gonna have more bills on his desk than the "Duggars Family".....
Obama gonna change his middle name...from Hussein....to Veto.
Obama street name is gonna be.....'the veto bro'.

The players are the system.
They allowed it to fail. With eyes wide open.

Two of them 'players', I named.
One of them will be gone and forgotten.
The other will be forgotten...when he's gone.

Pud, the above scenario shows a breathtaking lack of understanding of the Senate. The GOP won't have 60 votes, so, plenty of 'roadblocks' exist, and it just might be that the Dems pick up a couple more seats in the House(same anti incumbant thing going there, too, but far more local), in which case the margin for defection by the GOP is razor thin.

Slick..I'm sayin' this in a civil and polite manner....Gridlock will be gone and Obama's desk top will be piled. You and I both know that Reid shitcanned every bill from the congress. Nothing arrived on Obama's desk. Obama's desk top is gonna look like an elephant shit in a match box......soon. Meaning, Obama is gonna 'end up' being the bowel obstruction in the legislative/digestive process. That will be the part of his legacy...that will be most remembered.

Y'all had your chance.....and you hosed it.
Let's see what happens....now?

would disagree with the 'every' part, but unless the GOP has 60 votes, Harry can block everything he always did, via parlimentary procedure of the Senate. What you're likely to see is the Repubs sending up stupid, destructive stuff like they've wanted to, Obama vetoes it, and no votes to override. End result is that the GOP has its name linked to a bunch of bad, counterproductive ideas that will further hang them in 2016.
Y'all had your chance.....and you hosed it.
and now it's 'your' chance, as I laid out above. The Republicans will now have to be the party with real answers, and they can't do it.
Let's see what happens....now?
lets.....hope you and all others voted. I just got back.
