that her victory over Castle will cost the GOP a Senate seat?
She's a conservative unlike that RINO turd Castle.

Castle’s favorability ratings among state Republicans have taken a steep drop, according to PPP. A month ago the firm put his favorable rating at 60 percent among Delaware GOP voters. The new poll has a comparable figure of only 43 percent. Behind this slide seems to be a growing feeling among Republicans – 55 percent, according to the poll – that Castle is too liberal.

Slick....you totally lost me when you included Obama.......He personally and politically personifies, why I say....get rid of them all....there exists no path, nor should one exist, for him to redeem himself.... Yup, Obama the transparent fellow with no hidden agenda....of whom, nobody knows nothing about....why?....and why does he take/make such effort to hide it? So many questions with no answers and you want to include him.....why?

Sorry, Pud, but a realistic view of Obama shows that he is what I said: a VERY middle of the road, consensus building Democrat. Hell, half or more of his electoral problems out there are due to pissing off the Liberal wing of the Dems. Bayh dropped a run for President to accomodate Obama. That should tell you something, but probably won't, as you have ingrained in you this warped idea of what Obama stands for.

Oh, and for Wullie, Delaware will work like this:

O'Donnell will get the 20,000 votes she got last night, and maybe another 6 or 7 thousand. 80,000 people will vote in the general election. Do the math. She's toast. Hell, the State GOP has already announced that they will not support her in the General election.

50 Days to Decide: O'Donnell Pulls Ahead of Castle in Delaware Senate Primary Poll

"Tea Party-backed candidate Christine O'Donnell has taken the lead over Rep. Mike Castle in the bare-knuckle race for the Republican Senate nomination in Delaware, according to a new poll.

The survey released by Public Policy Polling shows the race within the margin of error. O'Donnell leads Castle 47-44 percent."

Old Pudfark sez: " This oughta be interesting....both parties should be damned scared..... "

How O'Donnell's Victory Will Realign the Republican Party

(Sept. 15) -- Delaware Tea Party insurgent Christine O'Donnell stunned the Republican Party establishment Tuesday night with her Senate primary win over U.S. Rep. Mike Castle. She's widely seen as a weaker candidate for the general election, which will diminish the GOP's chances of taking over the Senate. Nevertheless, her victory speaks to the strength of Sarah Palin and the tea party, which endorsed her candidacy. Political pundits are forecasting a new power shift in the Republican hierarchy:

Tea Party Mentality Will Take Over the GOP, writes Ezra Klein at The Washington Post: "Politicians are, by nature, a fearful species. But their nightmares became a lot more specific last night. The Tea Party, for all its unexpected successes, cannot topple every incumbent Republican in the country. But by toppling the right ones, it can make every incumbent Republican vote and speak and act with the Tea Party in mind. So though the Tea Party isn't likely to send all that many of its own Republicans to Washington, the likely outcome of last night's primaries is that the Tea Party takes over the Republicans who are already in Washington, and don't want to be sent home."

O'Donnell's Victory Is Evidence of a National Trend, writes Dan Balz at The Washington Post: "Her victory, which was almost unthinkable a few weeks ago, provided tea party and grass-roots activists one of their biggest victories of the year. But the defeat of Castle, a former governor and one of the most popular politicians in the state, jeopardized the GOP's once-high hopes of winning the Democratic-held seat in November's midterm election. O'Donnell is viewed as a far weaker candidate, and Democrats say she is too conservative for the state. But her victory was a reminder of the unpredictable forces at work in politics this year and the power and energy of the anti-establishment sentiment among voters nationwide that could be aimed at Democrats."

Old Pudfark sez: " These folks seem to grasp the concept..... "

O'Donnell will lose by double digits, guaranteed. If any of you political experts wishes to make a public wager here, put up your offers. I'd prefer charitable donations of some sort to a non-political cause.

Slick.....you're still failing to grasp the concept....is that deliberate? I'm not talking about that one race, I'm attempting to bring to your attention....the implication of it on all the political races.....however, you may carry on with your head in the sand....the shovel is just around the corner.....and you will Remember In November.....

yeah, I get your point, Rube. And here's mine: by turning the GOP into the right-wing nitwit party of cranky white guys, they have(and, yes, it might take a few election cycles) doomed it to a certain death. Guaranteed. Because, when you get right down to it, the nation by and large doesn't think like Glenn Beck, or Christine O'Donnell. Most people view them as loons.

I suppose that explains the ratings increase for a certain conservative TV network......and all the highly publicized "anti-loon" parties/demonstrations.....gatherings...hand holding....

I seem to recall that Reagan was a dead sure loser as far as anybody "in the know" was concerned, yet he carried 49 states. Seems there were a lot of dis-enfranchised democrats that liked what he said and cast their ballot for him.

ALL of those folks that crossed party lines to vote aren't dead yet. I suspect that if they are dead, they'll vote Democrat like their dead friends. From the looks of things and sounds of things, the un-dead ( both physically and brain wise) seem be getting as pissed at the goings on presently as they were when Ronny ran.

It will be interesting to see just how dinky little Delaware votes. Maybe they are AWARE of the impending economic train wreck headed our way and are ready for some real CHANGE. Then again, maybe they'll just go along and elect another obama ass sucking sycophant to represent them like they had with cAss-hole.
