I want to do my best to keep an open mind about this. This debate has been going on since darwin came out with his theory of evolution. I do want to hear what you have to say and try to see your side of things. But there are just as many holes in the theory of evolution as there are in the creation belief. The biggest differance is that the bible tells you to have faith. Sience doesnt leave any room and must show all the steps you take to get from piont A to piont B. But there are missing steps. Show me where the ape stopped and the homosapin started. As far as I know there is no fossals showing that.

Most of life's history involved the biochemical evolution of single-celled microorganisms. We find individual fossilized microbes in rocks 3.5 billion years old, yet we can conclusively identify multicelled fossils only in rocks younger than 1 billion years.

The fact that most of what the bible is very old, over 5,000 years old.
That's 3000+ years before Christ.

The Bible was made up of stories from the area around
the middle east and the Tigris and Euphrates valley, modern day Iraq.

Blooddrive, there is no one intermediate form. The fossil record for the transition
from a common ape ancestor was gradual and took many twists
and turns. The concept of a missing link is obsolete. None exists.

The above is a list of currently known skeletons mostly from Africa.
Starting with the genus "Homo" are recognisable as human, although small brained.
Homo heidelbergensis is the oldest "Homo" with a regognisable modern sized brain
although on the small end of the scale.
Homo neanderthalensis or better known as Neanderthal Man had a larger brain
than most modern Humans.

The oldest homonid on the list walked upright and had modern looking feet.
But the upper torso and brain case was more ape like.
One big difference is the spinal attachment at the base of the skull was
designed for up right walking, while still more chimp like.

Once again you're avoiding the question. Putting down the Bible does NOT prove evolution. When do you plan on proving what you believe in so much?

Yes i have read the whole thing.
as a student of military history the bible is a must read.
There is a lot of military tactics and violence in the old testement.

I have not seen any hard evidence of a historical Jesus as depicted in the new testiment.
Jesus was a very common Greko Judaic name in the era about 2,000 years ago.

The problem here is that discussing the origin of life with a hard core jesus freak
is like having a debate with a special olympian, there is no making sense of it.
No matter what is posted, you will just wave the bible and say NO.

You do know they were with Jesus during his ministry? They saw his miracles. They saw his reincarnation. They wrote about it. They died for him. Do you think they would write lies?

Watching you fella's 69 this subject is past amusing....and akin to head butting a brick wall....a gentle suggestion is to step back, let your head clear....inspect the brick wall....and move on....in a Happy sort of way.....as was suggested earlier......not that I am or would take sides.......

I'm trying to tell you....no one ever claimed that apes stopped, or that homosapiens suddenly began. There were gradual evolutionary developments, stops and starts if you will. There is ample evidence of that. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or doesn't understand the fossil record.

it is a massive leap, evolution-wise, to go from a single cell to an organized multicellular organism. What you state above would seem completely consistent. At least you aren't claiming that the Earth is only 8000 years old.....

see above....it didn't work that way, and no one claims it did. A google search for Homo Erectus might yield a better description than I can give you.
