Soros writes bigger checks

Although, he seems to be equally emotionally invested

It seems, you both will be thwarted, by common sense.

one of many things that astound me is this: How, or why, did George Soros, who makes a TON of money as a capitalist investor, get linked by the slow-witted to some sort of one-world communism?

Hmmm, you tell me...you're his "slow-witted" dupe....

Feel the anger!
Feel the resentment!
Fire the communist regime.
Send them HOME!
Vote Republican!

How many currencies has he broken over the years with his investments?
How much money did he recently make from his "investments" that can be directly related to his boy's "stimulus" spending?
What did dear old Georgie boy do as youth in WWII?
I'm thinking your wits may be a bit slow on this one, get another gear.
Seek and ye shall find.

Seems like Slick is through with his "crop dusting" here...and has returned to his refuge in the "guessing zone', where he stands a better chance of being right, once in awhile......

A democratic party activist friend told me they have been instructed
to lay low and avoid any talk that can be taken as arrogant or pushy.
The Demo's are well aware that voter anger is driving the mid term
elections. I assume Callmesick is meerly following orders.

LOL, maybe his mission here is finished.
He failed to convert the "slow witted" to follow the master plan.
Maybe he's searching for a recipe for the crow he is going to eat that might be more palatable.
Either way it goes, he'll declare it a win for his side.

actually, I'm just bored. There are places where one can find actual thinking conservatives, able to spout something other than the pre-digested pablum read here from the usual suspects. Some folks here can manage that, and when they do, I'm all in for it. I've come to the realization, however, that no rebuttal is needed for anyone with a brain to the output from Pud, Happy, et al. An reader that looks at all into the matter sees the stupidity, I need not point it out.
As for the original topic of the thread, sure, I do see the Dems losing some ground next week. Probably, they lose control of the House. The loss of Pelosi, as I've said over the many months, wouldn't break my heart.
She was effective at getting legislation through, but lost sight of the purpose in many cases, and could easily be replaced by someone better. Now, do I think Boehner will accomplish anything? No. But, the facts will still remain: The Congress will be able to agree on little if anything. Obama has a higher personal approval at this point of his Presidency than either Clinton or Reagan did, and this election will provide him the perfect foil to remake the Dems campaign focus and win re-election in 2012. The Tea Party will cause the GOP to fall short in the Senate, and how that plays out within the party will be interesting.
