Anyway; back on topic: i didn't get a reply wrt the mosque debate being aimed at angering the average joe against the muslim community, to help soften public reactions for subsequent policies; be it air strikes on Iran for instance.

At last I agree with Sick.nah, it's just an election year, and a rather nasty one at best, catering to all sorts of hatred, bigotry and stupidity. It's being used to rile up a certain base of one of our major Political parties. Nothing more.
The Democrats are the most racist, bigoted, hateful and stupid party these days.
We really need to drive the assholes out of power.

Voila..to Pelosi for suggesting an investigation on the who is financing the "Anti-Mosque Movement"....another foolish act by the Fed's to interfere in States Rights Issues.....No available crisis for them to jump on....so, they attempt to create one.....another piss poor attempt to misguide the American public from the Economic Crisis that Obama and Company have failed to handle....
