never thought about that angle.......I can't say I hate cricket, just have never closely followed a sport that takes a week to play a single game.

Actually, Chess too. We don't war on chess playing countries either. Russia used to be good at it though and the last great Chinese Chess player was shot for "fools mate" !!!

Peace in our time might come from organising a huge game of speed tiddley winks ( I'll take my Nobel prize now thanks )

Glad you touched on this but because there have been many cases of soldiers found in violation and the book has been thrown at them just a quick google search can bring them up
