Anyway, ever notice that the countries we don't invade or bomb tend to be good at cricket ?
I've always found that salient, and I fucking hate cricket!!

never thought about that angle.......I can't say I hate cricket, just have never closely followed a sport that takes a week to play a single game.

Actually, Chess too. We don't war on chess playing countries either. Russia used to be good at it though and the last great Chinese Chess player was shot for "fools mate" !!!
Peace in our time might come from organising a huge game of speed tiddley winks ( I'll take my Nobel prize now thanks )
