I personally know of a 70lb one that cannot argue that with you....
Not to mention how many others....
Just fer curiosity sake?
How many of them CB caps have you fired...?
What did ya fire them at? How far did they penetrate...
What did ya fire them out of?
Also fer yer info...the Short CB and the Long CB have the same ballistics...
Both are propelled solely by the priming charge contained in the rim of the shell casing...(no gun powder)
Both fired from a 20" barrel are about as loud as a medium hand clap...far more quieter that any pellet gun or airgun...just sayin...from experience...
Rumor has it...that this particular round of ammo was popular with the Mossad...

When it comes to this ammo,I'll bet..that our favorite AZ "cat killer" will make sure...his car ain't behind the cat...lol
Fer that matter..buy a rack of cheap pork ribs...fold it in half...put a bottle of yer favorite whiskey behind it
step back about fifty feet...
let one "fly" at it....post here...and let me know if your drinking milk, water or whiskey.....

Here's a little info fer the pilgrims whut read here....
Back in the day...way back...to include the 50's 60's and 70's...
They had "bullet proof" vests....the kind ya wear under yer shirt...
Not until the advent of "kevlar" could any of them reliably stop
a standard velocity .22 rimfire round....they could stop a .44 or
.45 even a 12 guage slug....but not, the lowly .22
The good news is? Now they can.

I guess your last 3 posts were to Dawg, because I never mentioned ammo.
Hard to tell.

Yeah Buzz...they were Dawg oriented...
Lot's of folks under estimate the .22 it's a damn dangerous round...
I've seen lots of folks and critters shot with it....You may remember,
Ronald Reagan...as one of them....fired from a pistol and a "ricochette"
(deflected) as well.....

my experience?
twenty years now in the business building custom firearms.
I've done work for:
colt custom shop
JDJones and his wife, work for SSK
Tony Kidd of KIDD industries.
volquartsen custom orders and for the owners
employees of boyds, brown precision, speedy Gonzales, and a dozen other shops have hired me out
seven stocks for the winchester custom shop prototypes that never saw the light of day
accuracy work for two SWAT units, three police stations
trademark protected two target stock designs
dozens of other such endeavors- fired tens of thousands of rounds of ammos with cops, swat, benchrest shooters, developers including manufacturers of vests and new underdall armor systems. I'll certainly mention the early vests couldn't stop rimfire ammo out of curiosity. I have NEVER heard of that, but I digress. And I wont bother to immediately point out ballistic coefficients and relative velocities and antimony of the materials used of the projectiles of the rounds you mentioned that could not defeat those early vests, not will I point out out the entire Reagan assassination attempt as I studied the hell out of it.
If you haven't heard of any of those folks its of little concern to me-and I've forgotten a dozen others, nor does it change what I think you are. A coward who cripples an animal letting it crawl off somewhere to die as you dont have the balls to deal with it directly.

I really shouldn't read anything else you post. for crap sake, just go out to where you keep those rounds and pry the projectile off the top and tap out whats inside.....
you're utterly wrong about the info posted about both cb caps, shorts and longs.
If you were to simply google your thoughts before posting, you might at least make them quasi believable to the casual gun person.
same goes for your claim about the mossad, those rounds wont cycle
any semi auto reliably, certainly not those berretta 70/71 or whatever pieces of crap they love so much....so what, they are going to take a chance on a single shot? What, cycle by hand and risk jamming a gun?
no, they dump the entire magazine into the target from a set distance as they continue to approach, as per their training, as they turn, they are reloading. others support if need be.
really google should be your friend.
I know ballistics like the back of my hand, I know various professional firearm teams from
years of casual interaction.
I know firearms marketing, engineering, gunsmiths, barrel manufacturers and hell, I've even built guns that went to six countries including Saudi Arabia.
Anyone, and I mean anyone using such a round to cripple an animal is as low as it gets and actually makes me suspect a deeper underlying emotional or mental problem.

just sayin Dawg...you left out sectional density and ballistic coefficient from yer calculations.....not to mention velocity..
Ya know...a 29 grain bullet at approximately 650 to 700 fps....with a little pointy non-deforming nose....
You really oughta try out the pork ribs and whiskey bottle thing.....then all of what you have read the last twenty years....
might make some sense.....to you.
I do like the the Louisiana drop in .22 parts...both my .22/.45's have them...along with my 10/.22...with just a dab of handfitting....
So Dawg...there's them that have done, continue to do.......and others who read about it and speak from a position of self appointed authority...
Just out of curiosity...Did ya know Don Tedford?
Not trying to poke ya in the eye....Dawg
