OBAMA: OBAMACARE WILL BE 'CHEAPER THAN YOUR CELL PHONE BILL'

President Barack Obama claims that "for a lot of people," Obamacare "will be cheaper than your cell phone bill."

Obama's comments came during an exclusive interview with radio hosts Tom Joyner and Sybil Wilkes.
When asked what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would have thought of Obamacare, Obama said, “Oh he’d like that. Well, because he understood that health care, health security is not a privilege, it’s something in a county as wealthy as ours, everybody should have access to.”

Obamacare's government healthcare exchanges are scheduled to open in five weeks.

Makes me wonder?
How much "call waiting", "voicemail" and "call forwarding" will affect "Oh-Care"?
Not to mention "signal loss" and "dropped calls"?

well, I suspect in my case, the result won't be cheaper than my cell phone bill. Given that I pay around $18,000 for health coverage, and, cheap bastard that I am, I pay $52 per month for cell phone, that would be a REAL serious level of savings that even I won't expect. I suppose, though, for folks at the lower than $75K income levels(for families) the subsidies might bring the two numbers close, and if you make less than $42K in most states the coverage will be essentially free, so the claim is accurate. Just not a chez Slick.

While I don't pay as much as you...I pay in the same dollar vicinity. My income annually is slightly below the 42k.... My Iphone is better too. Morally, should I go "chez Pudfark"? And let you pay for it?

I probably should. Why? Cuz, immediately after "Oh-Care" "passed/past" my insurance went up +$3000 a year. I see a new boat in my future. May Allah bless Obama and you.
