However, I'm not so sorry as to forfeit my right to protect my family.
I got no disrespect for anybody who voluntarily forfeits their weapons.
I just hope...you're aware of what you're doing...so, here's a picture for ya.
The only guns being talked about are assault guns, and high capacity clips. Nobody needs those guns for hunting, or home protection. We're not in a war zone.
What guns do you own?

I agree Fats....Mental Health laws in the U.S. are long overdue for change. Those laws and folks needing the help...have been grossly underfunded for years...
Seems kinda interesting to me....that those folks who mention/want/voted for Government health care here? Seem to be only interested in their physical health and longevity....with out addressing the mental health issues that create these horrendous events. So far, they have not said a word about it.
Personally, I don't possess any detachable magazine fed center fire rifles....Never saw the need for them.
Edit: We posted at the same time Buzz....does that answer your question...that I anticipated?

So, why are you worried about losing your guns? Nobody is even talking about taking what you own.

I posted this elsewhere, and stand by it here:
Outside of legitimate sporting purposes, and military/law enforcement practice, guns are the refuge of the scared, the weak, the cowardly or the stupid.

Buzz, where did I say "I was worried"?
Slick...good for ewe...911 is your "casual" friend...and only hope.
How'd that work out for folks in CT, or else where?
Over night regulation ain't gonna do nothing about the problem.
You think/feel it will. I know from experience, it won't.
I'm capable of taking care of me and mine. Once upon a time? I took care of folks, like you and yours. I was the 911. Now, I'm the 411. So, I do understand your theory of "Be a Zero, not a Hero"...
I just won't have it imposed on me....by, the likes of you.
Happy Holidaze...

Two comments later....and they still have not.....

You said you'd kill anybody who tried to take your guns. Sort of beyond being worried.

I did not say that. Please quote me on it.
Word for word.
