oh, and your link, Pud? Just about what McCarthy told us all. They ought to just rename it the Hillary Clinton Witchhunt Sympathy Generation committee. What, are they TRYING to get her into the White House?

Re: October Trey Gowdy month
maybe you weren't here in 2007/8, but I've never been fond of Hillary. I am not alone in the Dem ranks. I've always given money to Biden, gave a bit to Webb's exploratory(his campaign has been nonexistent), and both contributed and worked for Obama after having the great pleasure of meeting him. Hillary has just NEVER sold me on any real merits. Further, every time she is in the same room with Bill, EVERYONE can see who the real President is, and who is just not in the same league.
I'm sure the GOP loves the shot at Hillary(explaining your love for her campaign), because she is the most polarizing figure. She'd likely still win, but we'd have another 50.5-49.5 election. I want to see a whomp-ass, with some real coattails, so give me Biden or Bernie, and a bunch of ballot initiatives that draw Dems out of the woodworks, and just watch the Dems run one up and take back the Senate AND the House.
Dream ticket--Biden/Warren, vs Trump/anyone or Carson/anyone or Cruz/anyone(best of all). That could pull the Dems 45 states, DC and Puerto Rico. May even carry Texas.

Billary, Bernie or Joe....
Billary a thief, liar and outright scum.
Bernie a Socialist and ultra tax lover.
Joe Biden a Plagiarer dull, slow witted and has a big mouth.
Bring em on!

"We offer enough free goodies and we can buy the election, again."
Just my opinion? You folks have dangled that carrot since Obama...nobody got to taste it, though many felt it.
This time, maybe, throw a banana out there, it's a different flavor and it's not as potentially intrusive?
You watching the Dem-Con tonight? While I don't tweet, at all, I may take a gander at the Trump show tonight?

Re: October Trey Gowdy month
I may, but I have to finish the last two dozen trout flies for some guys in the mountains this weekend. Frankly, debates tend to bore me at the early stages. The GOP was fun, because of trying to juggle 16 people in an evening. I'll probably come in near the wrap-ups. I see Trump feels compelled to Twitter bomb the event. Typical, of a 12 year old girl. Not going to motivate a freaking soul. The Donald has his following, it isn't getting bigger(might be shrinking), and he should spend his time planning the counters to what is about to hit him in his chosen party. Note, I don't call the GOP 'his party' because I don't feel that Trump is any more a Republican than I am.Pudfark wrote:You watching the Dem-Con tonight? nah, it will be worth seeing Bernies composure, if Hillary can act Human and what any of the others feel is the purpose in running at all.
