let's break this down a bit, my sunbaked amigo: Are you aware that, for years, your government has been running a couple of programs called Medicare and Medicaid? We also don't wanna be taxed on insurance paid for by our employers. I really love that one cuz not only will I as the boss pay for my own insurance but I'll be taxed for it too. actually, you dense soul, I merely explained the line of reasoning, I never said I agreed with it. Actually, I take your point of view that personal conduct is one's own responsibility, and paying for the consequences is also one's own responsibility, whether it be eating, sex, whatever. What I'm saying is that it is consistent, and fair to try to instill positive health habits in kids. Likewise, it's probably wise to try and teach them safe sex practices, too. My own view is that these practices OUGHT to be the responsibility of parents, but as we've noted several times in the past, our whole society has evolved so people don't take personal responsibility for anything. And, before one of you ideological loons says this is all due to Liberals, you can wait with that bullshit until you explain where the personal responsibility falls when you demand a lowering of taxes when we're 10 trillion bucks in debt. I can come up with many more examples, but the trend cuts across the whole society.

You realize the administration fired the woman as soon as the speech and her actions were verified? Where's the problem? Oh, and any of you that have lived in agricultural areas realize that there was and until recently still has been an ongoing problem with Dept of Ag officials withholding loan funds to black farmers throughout the South that has left hundreds of men to lose their farms(hundreds, not one guy, as in this 'story')
