CNN) -- A "major gunbattle" between drug traffickers and Mexican federal police broke out Saturday evening in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, just 30 yards from the U.S. border at El Paso, Texas, causing U.S. authorities to cordon off a section of the city, according to a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman."

No, Wullie. Should you develop some reading comprehension, you can easily go back over two years or more of my words stating that we should(as Mexico either cannot or will not) intervene with force against Mexican cartels.

No slick, you should get your head out of your ass, even though you really admire the view.

Without illegals carrying packages south for the cartels the cartels would be seriously financially impacted. If the border were completely locked down the cartels would take a major financial hit. The border patrol are doing well at catching vehicles crossing with drugs. Cartels have decided to "end around" the border crossings and have their mules (also called illegals) carry their "packages" for them.

Again, it's all inter-related. Whether you choose to believe or not, Slick.

Sure, there would be the predictable braying about 'sovereignity', but Mexico has clearly(long ago) lost all control over folks issuing threats to our citizens and elected officials.
