"To me personally, I think it's disrespectful, I know southerners got their own beliefs, white or black, but I don't like the Confederate flag at all," said Bradley.
clearly, Bradley is not from the south, but wherever he comes from, they may have beliefs, but not a great edumatcation system
this is somewhat akin to the NYC mosque, in that; it is not illegal, but perhaps only in bad taste...and of that, its clearly quite subjective
in both cases, "move on, people"

It was a indeed a visually stunning rendition of the Confederate battle flag.

NOT.
FYI, Canada boy, here is the real flag of the Confederacy. Better known as the "stars and bars".

In 1972, several of us "redneck" types in my squadron had the a patch that resembled the battle flag sewn on our flight jackets. The vocal "minority" contingent took exception to our ( racist ) patches and we had to remove them by orders from the skipper. I had a patch made of the stars and bars and sewed it where the battle flag was previously.
Not one "muth-a-fuckah" complained about it and several said it was cool.
