As I wiped my Obama I realized a Pelosi has popped up and needed to make an appointment
to have it removed.

ok, DH(nice of you to stop by), it's not about goofy-ass patriotism in the banners, it's the content of the deeds, the work the DOJ does, etc. This ongoing trivia-fueled stupidity campaign, at the moment pitting the right against the administration(but I'll be the first to admit it's been a two-way street, ideologically0 is helping to kill the nation. This nation has some REAL problems, which need REAL discourse and consensus between intelligent adults. The banner on the DOJ website or quotes are nothing short of a distraction.
To get you up to speed, I've been attempting to tell these dolts posting above for a while that the more the nation wallows in hateful back and forth, the further we sink into what will eventually be an oligarchy. In the past 20 years, a massive amount of wealth has been transferred from 95% of the nation to 5%. In the past 20 years or more, we have watched the economy ship actual labor overseas. Further we've seen both parties run the nation on IOU's and while doing so, ignore the real projects that strengthen the nation and the economy(think infrastructure, basic research, REAL healthcare reform, REAL educational opportunity for all, etc). The founders didn't envision a static government, but they did envision a type of government that only works when the citizens are engaged and informed. Right now, we live in a country where far more folks can name American Idol contestants than SCOTUS justices. Where Paris Hilton is more recognizable than their Congressman. Further, a big chunk of those 'involved' on both right and left are trading in completely irresponsible stupidity unworthy of 10 year olds. God help us all.
